At SandMan Products, woodworking isn’t just our business — it’s our passion. Founded in 1996 by Lloyd Troyer, a lifelong woodworker and hobbyist, SandMan was born from a simple but important idea: woodworking should be clean, safe, and enjoyable.
While working in his own woodshop, Lloyd noticed how much dust his projects created — and how few good solutions existed to manage it. Instead of settling for a dusty, hazardous workspace, he decided to build something better. That solution became the foundation for SandMan Products and our flagship innovation: the SandPro® Sanding Table.

What started in a personal woodshop has grown into a trusted family business that serves professional woodworkers, hobbyists, manufacturers, and educational programs across the country. Lloyd’s original vision — to help craftsmen breathe easier, work smarter, and protect their health — still drives everything we do today.
